Do you feel like something light and sweet? To satisfy your sweet-tooth Old school Ka-Fey is the place to go! This is a cute cafe located in CBD which sells a variety of different desserts such as Bing-su, French toast, waffles and many more! Bing-su is a popular Korean dessert and is becoming more well known in Western culture. The dish consists of shaved ice and is usually topped with a variety of fruits, ice cream and condensed milk. 


Old school Ka-Fey is well known for the ‘Old School Milk Tea.’ The flavour of this dish was sensational, and just melted in my mouth! This is the perfect dessert in the Summertime, after a nice dinner in the city of Sydney.


When served, the Bing-su was served with a separate glass of condensed milk for the preference of the customer. The combination of the two balanced each other out and was not overly sweet. The Old School Milk Tea consisted of interesting combination of toppings! Besides the milk tea favoured shaved ice, it came with grass jelly, palm seed and corn flakes. These topping gave the dessert some extra texture and flavour.

Crave something fried? Crave something sweet? Get the best of both worlds with Deep fried ice cream from Duo Duo Ice Cream! Duo Duo keeps things fresh by regularly switching out flavours. Some flavours they have had include Salted Caramel, Banana Bread, Pandan Coconut and Hokey Pokey. Some of the flavours on this week’s menu at Stratified were the Ferrero Rocher and Cookies & Cream. The Ferrero Rocher was delightful with a deep-fried hazelnut gelato core topped with oozing Nutella ganache and crushed hazelnuts & wafers.
